Self-Portrait Born and raised in Chicago, Elizabeth moved to the East Coast to study visual art and dance at Bowdoin College, Maine. A multi media artist focused on the photographic medium, Elizabeth brought together her various practices through dance films and multi media live dance performance.

Now residing in Brooklyn, Elizabeth focuses her efforts on photography and video, integrating her choreographic sensibilities into her work. Her approach towards fashion, portraiture and still life photography is firmly rooted in her education as a fine artist and dancer, trained to look at creation in terms of time, space and energy. Fascinated by the decisive moment of a photograph, Elizabeth’s aesthetic revolves around awareness of composition, whether in the natural “found arrangements” of everyday life, or the carefully and choreographically constructed. As a videographer and editor, Elizabeth has also applied her experience as a dance film director towards her newer explorations in fashion film, finding the same principles to reign true.

Since receiving her A.B., Elizabeth has worked for a variety of creative professionals, from television producers and independent film directors to fine art and fashion photographers. Enjoying New York, Elizabeth has found the city to be the perfect place for collaboration, meeting other artists and joining forces in the effort to create beautiful and compelling work.
